Why am I asked for a username and password when I try to download using DAP / GetRight ?
A.
PlanetMirror provides a sophisticated system for seamless downloads using our Premium service. You might find that you are being asked for a username and password if you are using a Download Accelerator type of program. This is due to some bugs with how these programs interact with PlanetMirror. You are not required to enter a username or password to download from planetmirror's public servers.
